Back in November, it was revealed via vocalist M.I.A.‘s Instagram that Skrillex would be providing some production contributions to her upcoming album, Matadatah. Despite not yet receiving much in the way of solid release date, fans of the two can now listen to a short clip of their expected collaboration, “Go Off.”

Although difficult to make out, and cut off momentarily in the middle of the clip, Skrillex’s influence can be easily discerned during the length of the snippet. M.I.A.’s vocals appear to be distorted and twisted in the usual Skrillex and Jack Ü style. Unfortunately, the short preview does not contain any solid section of the verse or potential drop.
Regardless, it’s always interesting to see Skrillex branch out into new areas of the music realm. Check out his latest below.
