Before the awful act of violence at Pulse Nightclub in the middle of the night on Sunday, popular YouTube vocalist and The Voice finalist Christina Grimmie was gunned down after a show in Orlando during a typical meet & greet. While the country, even the world, are still mourning those lost at Pulse, Grimmie is not forgotten – especially by her coach during her time on The Voice, Adam Levine.
A GoFundMe was set up by the Grimmie family in order to help pay for funeral expenses, but according to a Facebook post from Christina’s brother, Marcus, Levine has offered to pay for the entire thing out of his own pocket.
“I found out this morning that Adam Levine personally called my mother and said he will pay for her funeral and her plane flight, and I was blown away,” he shared in a post.
The GoFundMe is currently nearing $200,000, and is still active.
