What terrible news to wake up to. The Voice finalist, Christina Grimmie, was shot dead last night after a concert in Orlando, Florida. The multi-genre 22-year-old singer-songwriter was approached by a 21-year-old man wielding two handguns and a hunting knife during a signing with fans. The perpetrator was tackled by Grimmie’s brother immediately after committing the fatal shooting.
During the struggle that ensued, the assailant also shot and killed himself.
