EDEN Releases “sex” Ahead of New EP

EDEN has arguably been one of the biggest rising names in electronic music of the past year. After releasing the immensely successful “XO” – which, alone, has been streamed over 17 million times across YouTube and SoundCloud – as The Eden Project and going through a thoughtful alias change, EDEN quickly released his EP End Credits on MrSuicideSheep‘s label Seeking Blue, which was met with equal success. Shortly after the release of the EP, EDEN was picked up by Scooter Braun, who manages the likes of Martin GarrixJustin Bieber and Steve Angello.

Fresh off his sold out “End Credits” tour, EDEN is on track to release another huge EP. Entitled i think you think too much of me, the EP centers around the themes of sex, drugs and rock & roll. This is clearly evident with the release of the EP’s first single, “sex.” The track is EDEN’s poppiest work to date, being very vocal-centered and featuring very little electronic elements, with tons of live instrumentation.

Lyrically, “sex” appears to be a direct sequel to “XO,” which portrayed EDEN as a bit of a player with lines like “I don’t love you, and I never did.” “sex,” on the other hand, uses similar lyrical themes but this time sees EDEN developing feelings for the girl he’s playing.

Aside from four brand new tracks, the EP will include remastered versions of The Eden Project’s hits “Circles,” “Fumes” and “XO.”
