It’s no secret that Martin Garrix productions bear a strong resemblance to video games, so it makes sense for him to team up with E3 for the year’s biggest celebration of gaming culture. Enlisted to produce this year’s theme song, Martin Garrix has produced “Oops” to chronicle the energy and heritage of video game culture.
“I am so honored to team up with YouTube and play a part in celebrating the future of the video game industry at E3.”
And to get in the spirit of E3, Garrix just spent a day in LA playing Mario Kart with NadeShot, iJustine, TypicalGamer, and iHasCupQuake, and even Logic stopped by to get a couple rounds in.
“Oops” is scheduled to premiere Monday, June 13th, on YouTube Live at E3, and we can’t wait to hear this year’s theme song. The track will be available for free download on MartinGarrix.com, and you can catch some behind-the-scenes in the video below.
