Oliver Heldens Goes K-pop In Unexpected Performance

Oliver Heldens just returned from the 2016 Style Icon Asia awards and won the title of “Iconic Global Producer.” During a special guest performance at the show, the newly minted Dutch icon enlisted the help of K-pop stars f(x) for a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration on “Shades of Grey” and “4walls.”

“It was a big honor. I went to Asia before and I was asking the people to show me Asian music. I don’t like lots of Asian music, but then my manager came with f(x) and said, ‘You have to check them out.’ With some of it, I really like itespecially the more K-pop stuff crossed over with the U.K. house stuff. The perfect combination: f(x) and me. I was really happy, I really like them.”

Have a look at Oliver Heldens and f(x)’s dual performance below, but do yourself a favor and skip to 1:00 to avoid the painfully awkward intro.
