Earlier this week, Bassnectar announced a new album that was supposedly ready for release on June 3rd. Well, the date is here, but the Unlimited LP has now been pushed back to June 17th. However, Lorin hasn’t forgotten about his beloved fans, and to satiate us until the album’s release Bassnectar has released four new tracks.
Ranging from abstract soundscapes to more cohesive melodies, this preliminary dose features collaborations with The Glitch Mob, Zion I, LUZCID, and more, in addition to his solo work on “Reaching Out.” Judging by the content of these four tracks, Bassnectar is trekking down an entirely new road that’s sure to be a theme of discussion amongst bassheads old and new. Have a listen below and pre-order Bassnectar’s 12th album, Unlimited, now on iTunes.
