This latest cut from Morten and Dim Mak is a bass house heater, as can only be exemplified by the track title, “Fiyaa.” If you’re hoping for a Fox / Super Smash Bros. sample, sorry to say that you’re out of luck. What you will find is a healthy dose of heavy bass and a strong inclination toward moving your ass.
“Fiyaa” shares many of the same elements that comprise most bass house tunes today, even down to the key of the bass line. What it does differently however lies in the arrangement; and with a genre getting as saturated as bass house, a unique arrangement is half the battle, anyway.
