Alan Walker absolutely exploded onto the scene after his track “Faded” went viral. Currently at 350 million views on YouTube alone, “Faded” single-handedly made Walker into a household name. And now, he’s looking to recreate that success with the follow-up, “Sing Me To Sleep.”
I don’t usually make it a point to pay attention to lyrics in a song, opting usually to just notice the musical notes of the vocals, but this one definitely captures my ears. The style is very similar to that of “Faded,” though clearly different enough so that you don’t get bored. The chords are wonderfully beautiful and evoke images of soaring through the clouds, a simple kind of happiness.
