I typically don’t go out of my way to cover music that’s more than a week old but after listening to this single and taking a gander across the internet and realizing that only very few publications have touched upon a record and this record deserved better.
I’m not entirely sure whether Miami has a large underground house scene at all, but with m.O.N.R.O.E repping South Beach there has to be a growing one by now. “You And Me” features the talents of fellow knob-twister Daniel Dubb and is that tune that every tech house fan could have asked for and more. Dark, dirty, and ultimately a very minimal-esque piece, there’s not much more else to ask for so just close your eyes and imagine yourself shuffling for hours on end in some gritty warehouse somewhere.
