After 15 months of dating and a veritable tsunami of publicity, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris finally ended their relationship on Wednesday of this week.
As the Internet exploded with equal parts dismay and celebration, both Harris and Swift stayed relatively quiet on their social media pages. That is, until last evening.
Harris took to his Twitter account on Thursday night to offer his very first, public line of thought regarding the breakup. Without revealing any intimate details about the situation, he made it known that both he and Swift have walked away from the partnership with “a huge amount of love and respect.”
