DAMNNNN. This is fire. Y2K and lil aaron’s collaborative single “DAMN” really took off with its quirky lyrics and infectious melodies, but it’s this remix by Kulkid and Honest Vision that really has me buzzing.
The two producers employ a lot of vocal chops and edits alongside a mellow-piano driven lead to warm up the intro before we’re really thrown a loop with a gorgeous breakdown about one minute in. This track just screams danceable playful internet fun to me in a way that all of the other 100 remixes of “DAMN” haven’t yet. Stream it below for some good vibes and grab a free DL here.
