Gary Richards Gives Us A Tour Of Hard Summer’s New Location [Video]

Race tracks seem to be the name of the game when it comes to America’s most prestigious and attended electronic music festivals. Electric Daisy Carnival’s mainstay Las Vegas installment has been located within the city’s Motor Speedway ever since 2011, drawing in hundreds of thousands of fans and virtual miles of activities, stages and decor. Now, after many consecutive years of changing venues, HARD founder Gary Richards has moved the mid-summer festival to Los Angeles’s absolutely enormous Auto Club Speedway.

Located approximately 30 minutes east of last year’s Pomona venue, the Speedway embodies the grandeur and spectacle of EDC, albeit with a (likely) more scaled down production. On his Snapchat, Richards gave fans a full video and photo tour of the now-empty racetrack, detailing which sections of it will be reserved for specific stages and even the new campground. Judging from the clips, the festival looks to be one of the best and most spacious iterations in HARD’s history. But, good lord, will it be hot.

Check out the full venue preview below, and grab your tickets here.
