Kill The Noise might have just put out his Alt Classic remix album with remixes from Ephwurd, Snails, Team EZY & more, but what might be our favorite remix didn’t wasn’t even on that compilation. No, this one is from REZZ, of the track “Without A Trace.”
Rezz’s talent lies in her ability to make simple arrangements sound beautifully complex, and that was extremely evident in her remix of Gesaffelstein’s “Hellifornia.” However, she’s really gone above and beyond with this one, especially in how she utilizes vocals from Stalking Gia. The way the track is arranged, rather than a featured vocalist, it sounds like Rezz has crafted the remix around the vocals, which is a stark contrast to the original.
Obsessed is not generally a word I use lightly, but I’ve had this remix on repeat for the past half hour at least. Listen below, and download here.
