Memorial Day Weekend has somehow become one of the biggest weekends for EDM shows and events across the country. It’s not the only 3-day weekend with Monday off, yet promoters have clung to this specific holiday as a time for reveling and excitement (in spite of the obvious meaning of the holiday itself).
Aside from all the other festivities happening this weekend, OMNIA San Diego is also going big for MDW, featuring sets from Martin Garrix and Matoma. Martin Garrix is obviously one of the biggest names in dance music right now, and seeing him in a club environment as opposed to a large festival is honestly breathtaking. Matoma is the first tropical house artist OMNIA San Diego has booked, but still is a solid choice as a tastemaker of music for the night.
