Following in the recent footsteps of tropical house producer Kygo, Zedd has just taken to Facebook to upload a live clip of himself playing a soulful and somewhat out of character piano arrangement.
In the short clip, Zedd sits in the studio with headphones on playing on what looks to be a real, grand piano – a sight for sore eyes since we last saw Zedd behind the keys during his acoustic rendition of “Spectrum” back in 2012.
The new track is a gentle and melancholy series of chords, including several jazz-influenced phrases. In his Facebook post, he even asks his fans for suggestions on what to name it. Hopefully with time, we’ll see a full version of the new tune.
