As far as pop stars go, Fergie isn’t usually on the radar of many dance music fans. Her crossover appeal just isn’t that… appealing. Thankfully, Maestro Harrell was able to look past that and give us this awesome remix of her song “L.A. LOVE.”
For what it’s worth, Fergie’s voice works perfectly in this remix. The poppy undertones work well with how Maestro decided to modify the beat, and the song still pretty much feels like the original, just more dancey. I often mention how important it is to show restraint in some remixes, and Maestro’s demonstrates that perfectly here.
