Usually, with OWSLA Radio, we’re used to Skrillex and friends playing a couple of tracks and freely talking in between. However, this particular recording took place at FORM Arcosanti, a boutique festival which requires a lengthy application process to gain access to.
As a result, this installment was more akin to a live-streamed FORM set . Instead of the usual banter, Team EZY and Skrillex played a near non-stop two-hour mix of their weirdest jams, turning the desert backdrop into their own vibe canvas.
About 22 minutes in, the CDJs come down with some unforeseen technical difficulties, but a fan comes through to beat box while they reset. Then, beat-matching into the vocals, Skrilly effortlessly mixes back into the set for the ultimate party save, and we were lucky enough to capture the moment on video (although it was a bit windy).
