Rilan pounces back onto the scene in 2016 with his new single, “Blindfolds,” featuring Naz Tokio.
The house-influenced tune has a good bit of everything going for it. It has the groove and swing of future and deep house with the pop overtones courtesy of vocals from Tokio. It’s an abundantly fun tune that will easily lodge itself in your head and won’t let go. The true meaning of the track is a little darker, however.
In reality, it’s about being rejected by someone you love and not being able to let go. From the bouncy chords in the song though, it doesn’t sound like Rilan is taking it too hard.
