One year ago, Zedd’s sophomore album True Colors was released. Though the young superstar producer had already achieved great success thanks to hit debut album Clarity, as well as close friendship with Skrillex, it was True Colors that truly and completely catapulted him to stardom.
Beginning with the fan events leading up to the album release, and the massive tour soon after, it is still regarded in our opinion as one of the most well thought-out and most carefully crafted album/tour rollouts in electronic music history. Not to mention the fact that the album itself, while unquestionably poppy, is absolutely phenomenal.
Congratulations, Zedd, on an incredible past year. Here’s to another.
