Following the release of his recent EP, producer POLO has just come out with a new original single, “Nightbloom.” The track is characterized by abstract and overlapping layers of diverse melodies and atmospheric components, resulting in a truly unique and beautiful culmination of individual elements. According to the Soundcloud upload, a finished mix and free download are soon to follow.
It begins with a peaceful medley of guitar strums and percussive blips before they coalesce into a fluid loop. High pitched vocal chops soon enter the space above a creeping kick drum and wide stings of brass, until a consistent pulse of soft, resounding synth takes over. The energy swells in the middle of the track as the kicks and other percussion become more frequent and pressing. Eventually, the elements are stripped away, leaving only the guitar and blip from the beginning.
