Julius Jetson might not be a big name in the g-house scene just yet, but once you set the support list attached to this track it seems pretty inevitable that the DC-based producer will get there soon enough if he keeps putting out material like “Came To Get It.”
Structurally the track is simple enough, but there’s a certain charm to this track that I just don’t feel with some of the other tracks in the genre. The build-up is nice and tense with a splash of techno mixed in the start with an unforgettable Joe Budden vocal sample. By the time we’ve hit the drop, the industrial techno influences are more than plain to hear amidst Julius’ vicious aural assault on our ears.
