In a rare display of generosity, deadmau5 is offering a once in a lifetime opportunity for his fans.
Back in January, mau5 appeared at Compton’s King Drew Magnet Golden Eagle School to address the work of LA-based non-profit Urban Fitness 911. The non-profit aims to address the disparity of academics and health among teenagers and young adults in low-income communities, and deadmau5 is a firm believer in their mission and in giving everyone an equal opportunity to succeed.
Now, in partnership with CrowdRise, deadmau5 is taking action to provide a few fans with an unmatched opportunity to experience Firefly Music Festival.
Fans who donate or fundraise will be entered to win a VIP trip to Firefly Music Festival. The grand prize includes two VIP festival and camping passes, with side-of-stage access to deadmau5’ set, a meet and greet with deadmau5 himself, and roundtrip airfare to and from the festival.
“I wanted to do something that would bring awareness to these kids and the struggles that they go through on a daily basis.”
