That Poppy – Lowlife (Slushii Remix)

Marshmello prodigy Slushii has been gradually cementing his spot alongside today’s biggest acts like Ookay, Jauz, Brillz, and Skrillex. His unique approach to dance music is embodied in his effort to not stick to one type of genre, alternating between more hard-hitting dubstep elements like in his remix of Galantis’ “In My Head” to his softer stylings in the original “Some More.” Paired with his recent signing to Monstercat, this artist on the rise seems to be in for a breakout year.

Now, the young producer is back with another incredible remix of That Poppy’s track “Lowlife.” Slushii transforms the original into a futuristic rework, featuring wavy synths, bouncy syncopated beats, and a driving bass paired with That Poppy’s slowed-down melodious vocals. Listen to the track here and prepare for Slushii’s debut performance at this year’s Hard Summer Music Festival in Los Angeles.
