Deorro Hits The Spot With “Bailar”

Deorro has been the foremost ambassador of bounce music for about as long as we can remember, aside from the usual suspects like Timmy Trumpet, Joel Fletcher, and Will Sparks. It seems that he’s completely outdone himself with one of his latest tracks, “Bailar” (Spanish for “dance”), with vocals from none other than Elvis Crespo.

The track has real soul behind it, encompassing classic Spanish vocals and an true ethnic twinge that gives it a huge amount of flavor and character. More than that, it’s just damn fun. “Bailar” could be seen as a command (though its construction is an infinitive) or even description of the track itself. There’s no doubt that this one will get people on the dance floor moving.

Unfortunately, his newest track out yesterday with Riggi & Piros has none of those qualities. It’s a straight up fusion of bounce and big room house without any real innovation or originality in it. You can tell by those kicks that this is meant for main stages.
