Nite Records reigns in the post-Coachella blues with some brand new and much needed house music. The LA based independent label retains a solid catalogue of releases, with some of the most forward thinking house to date. Today’s release comes to no exception as Dateless unveils his latest four track EP, Break The Dancefloor. While keeping in touch with the tech house flavor that Nite is so similarly connected to, Dateless puts his own unique spin on this killer EP. It comes to no surprise that Dateless’ signature influences such as latin based percussion and bassline inspired synths are able to be interwoven to create something truly authentic with tracks like “The Fling” experimenting with half time deep house. Then there’s the title track “Break The Dancefloor”, venturing to a much darker realm in a very Claude Vonstroke-esque fashion. After having seen ample support from the likes of Claude Vonstroke, Paul Oakenfold, Planet Perfecto, Black Butter Records, Shiba San, Basement Leak, AC Slater, Marcus Nasty, Rinse Fm to name a few, its clear that Dateless has a promising career ahead of him!
