Out right now is the brand new EP from UK genre-switching bass producer Kove. Having spent much of his time over the previous twelve months on the road, Kove has put focus back into the studio, and as a result concocted Nightfires Vol. 1.
With the EP is two house and two drum and bass tunes, both of an awesome standard. Of the house, we have ‘Comin’ On Strong’, an upbeat collaboration with fellow London artist Kideko and closing track ‘Altus’, which has endless groove.
‘El Camino’ and ‘The Silence’ make up the D&B contingency, the former being a funky, melodic cut and the latter being a powerful, instrumental led addition.
