Some new music coming out of Gramatik’s Lowtemp label from Anomalie, titled “Odyssée.”
The tune is classic Lowtemp, blending blistering piano notes and a fast-paced synth structure that will be sure to keep your feet moving as long as you can hold out. Though it’s honestly unfair to compare Anomalie’s abilities to another producer, when you watch the live performance below, Haywyre comes to mind. The live instrumentation element is definitely present and well-appreciated. The voice box is also an excellent addition.
Like Haywyre, Nicolas Dupuis, aka Anomalie, is classically trained and brings that training into his production every time. “Odyssée” is officially out tomorrow on Lowtemp.
