Salt Lake City-based event promoter, V2 Presents has appeared on our site multiple times over the last year. Why? Because let’s just say they deserve the recognition. The company has been around for over a decade and has brought out the most renowned artists to their club nights, Therapy Thursdays at Sky SLC, and seasonal festivals like Get Freaky, Get Lucky, Decadence SLC, and Das Energi.
This August, Das Energi will become the biggest Utah dance music event to date – a two-day festival featuring Tiësto and Dillon Francis as the headliners. Additional artists include Gareth Emery, Marshmello, Wolfgang Gartner, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Caspa & Rusko, Chill Harris, Destructo, Dr. Fresch, Ilan Bluestone, Sander Kleinenberg, Slander, and TJR + many more! Not to mention Das Energi is being independently produced, meaning V2 is the only event promoter behind the festival. Quite a feat for someone their size!
Last year the festival featured 3 stages and performances by Kaskade, Flux Pavilion, Seven Lions, Andy C, Morgan Page, Getter, and Late Night Alumni to name a few. The Mainstage was outdoors and overlooked the beautiful mountains and breath taking sunset over the salt flats of Salt Lake City, the 2nd stage was inside the historic Great Saltair building, and the 3rd stage was on the beach of the Great Salt Lake surrounded by live artists and other art structures.
It’ll be interesting to see what else V2 has in store for us this year. Even if you live far away, I encourage you to make the trip out this year; I promise it’ll be worth it!
