So apparently I’m a couple months late on this, but VOIA has been busy teasing tracks from his forthcoming album Futuresong, out this year. The plan is to release a track a month and have a cohesive set by the end of the year to release. So far, he’s got a great start.
Today he released the third single, a collaboration with AgNO3, called “metamorph.” Featuring enticing male vocals and a pretty standard intro, the track really hits its stride once the drop kicks in. It’s sort of reminiscent of some of Porter Robinson’s newer, harder live edits, featuring crunchy synths and a rough bassline. But make no mistake, this is wholly unique and entirely entertaining.
