In just a few short months, Mysteryland USA will return to Bethel Woods in upstate New York, the home of the original Woodstock, for its third year. After revealing a lineup headlined by ODESZA, Skrillex, and Bassnectar, and featuring undercard artists like Claude VonStroke, REZZ, and The Chainsmokers, Mysteryland has now added more than 40 new artists to its stellar 2016 lineup that are sure to make it one of the can’t-miss festivals of the summer.
Mysteryland’s recently-announced phase 2 lineup does not pack the same kind of mainstream punch as its first announcement, but the new names on the lineup gives its undercard a serious boost within the underground dance community. Artists like Art Department, Hudson Mohawke, and Joris Voorn offer a more sophisticated style of dance music, while others like Lido, MK, Ty Dolla $ign, and XXYYXX offer more left-leaning options that still dabble within the mainstream.
