Sydney-based electronic duo Pluural have just returned with a brand new original track called “Above,” featuring vocals from Pete Rowlands. Coming as the second single off of the two’s upcoming, debut EP Two Cities, the track serves as an optimistic and vocal-centered, indie dance anthem. It’s currently available for free download here.
The song begins with a slowly approaching arpeggio of resounding blips, before light piano accompaniment enters the space alongside distant snaps. Rowlands’s vocals soon take center stage above a deep kick and swells of layered synth, before the entire thing explodes outward into a swaying sing-along.
