Ten Walls Attempts to Reestablish Career, Announces 10-Stop Tour [Video]

In June of 2015, Lithuanian producer Ten Walls made several homophobic statements that resulted in the loss of his management, booking agent, and his spot on some of the most acclaimed music festival lineups. Ever since they came to light, his words have served as a towering example of how not to approach the dance music scene, one that was built almost entirely from the LGBT community in the late ’70s and ’80s.

Four months ago, as a kind of apology-turned-song, Ten Walls released “Shining” in collaboration with transgender vocalist and “good friend” Alex Radford. Created with support from the Danish National LGBT Rights Organization, LBL, the song speaks a clear message of strength and endurance in the face of adversity. Without a doubt, this was Ten Walls’s first attempt at a creeping tip-toe back into the public’s eye.

Today, he’s taken the next step. According to his newly furnished website, Ten Walls will be embarking on a 10-stop tour through Europe and Asia starting April 15. His Equalized Tour will mark the first live performances since last June.

In a video announcement uploaded to his Facebook page, Ten Walls has stoked his fans’ long withheld excitement once more. Watch the clip below.
