Since his emergence on the scene years ago, Kap Slap has proven himself to be a jack-of-all-trades. The LA transplant first made a name for himself as a stand-out mash-up artist before evolving and maturing his sound to showcase a traditional progressive house style on his remixes and original productions. In addition to a steady stream of stellar releases, Kap Slap has consistently delivered his signature seasonal mixes – hour-long sets that showcase some of the best tracks of each four month time period.
This week, the progressive house guru has released his most recent mix of his series – the Spring Break Mix 2016. Kap Slap’s Spring Break mix features some of the biggest tracks of last year, like Skrillex’s remix of GTA and Sam Bruno’s “Red Lips,” SNBRN’s “Gangsta Walk,” and JayKode’s remix of The Chainsmoker’s “NYC,” in addition to opening the mix with a brand new Kap Slap original titled “Felt This Good.” Whether you’re out at the beach, chilling at home, or celebrating Spring Break in Cabo, Kap Slap’s latest mix is the perfect soundtrack to the season.
