Carnage‘s rocky, online reputation was partially restored yesterday, when he took to Twitter to give his followers a passionate rant about the history of real trap music.
The “EDM” trap that we’re absorbed with nowadays, Carnage said, is no more than an offshoot of the material coming out of such artists as Gucci, Migos and Zaytoven. The “annoying rappers” that EDM hipsters refer to these days, he said, are actually the true legends of trap music and the ones that pioneered many of the most popular trends currently circulating the bass music circuit.
Read Carnage’s entire, 13-tweet argument below, and join us in giving him props for laying down a piece of real knowledge on his followers.
