When I was sent over this new original from Apashe, I can’t lie I got a bit excited. The Canadian producer has some of the best sound design out there, having studied the technical side of it thoroughly. Returning to his home at Kannibalen Records, we’re greeted with a filthy dose of bass music.
“Skeleton Dance” has been rinsed during Apashe’s performances on the BTSM Church tour, so fans will be glad to know that they get finally get their hands on it now. Opening with a eerie yet rich vocal from Lena, there is little clue to what’s next. Almost out of nowhere, screeching synths engulf your ears as they flow over a pounding electro rhythm.
