World, meet Vertex Festival.
Nestled in Buena Vista, Colorado, about two hours southwest of Denver, Vertex offers a variety of sounds and genres for fans to get ahold of. Initially thought to be a 4-day festival, Vertex will actually take place August 5-7. Headliners featured include Odesza, Alabama Shakes, and two sets from the Trey Anastasio Band.
This is not anything like the Electric Forest festival that EDM fans have come to know Madison House for, as this features a lineup more similar to Austin City Limits, blending hip hop, EDM and rock. As a first year festival, the lineup is predictably moderate, neither completely losing touch with the current sounds nor booking any solid headliners. 
Regardless, this is sure to be an event that many people will call home if the first year is successful. There are still more artists to be announced, so keep an eye on this space!
