Never heard of SIA? Neither had we.
SIA stands for Style Icon Asia, and it’s been held in South Korea every year since 2008 “to showcase Asian fashion designers and to honor individuals who have made the most outstanding contributions to fashion, culture and trend during the year.”
Information about the awards online is spare and unorganized, but the awards it presents apparently varies from icons of style to singers and performers, as well. This year’s Global Producer Of The Year award apparently went to Dutch producer Oliver Heldens, who received the award in person early this morning.

As far as we can make sense of, Oliver Heldens is the only non-Asian participant to walk away with an award at this year’s event. If you have a full list of winner of all categories, please let us know!
