Rapper A$AP Ferg was recently featured in an extensive profile on Stereogum, where he revealed, among a host of other information, special details about his upcoming album Always Strive and Prosper. According to the piece, both Skrillex and Grimes will appear on the album’s track “Hungry Ham.”
While further details of the collaboration have not yet been unveiled, it’s interesting to note that the last time a member of the A$AP crew worked with Skrillex was when he and its frontman, A$AP Rocky, created the hit single “Wild For The Night.” As far as Grimes’s involvement goes, FACT Mag speculates that it began when her and Ferg met one another on the set of HAIM’s “My Song 5” music video.
Regardless, with Skrillex’s hand in the production, the track is likely to be something well worth a focused listen. Look forward to the release of Ferg’s album sometime this year, and in the meantime, revisit the track that started it all.
