Every week, the ancient baths that occupy Hungary’s capital city of Budapest are transformed into a modern, strobe-filled musical experience for those in attendance. The Roman-built thermal spas are intended for physical and mental therapeutic purposes, and date back to the 1500s. Today, the ruins serve the same purposes and attract tourists from around the world to come and enjoy the soothing water.
On the weekends, however, the Lukács and Széchenyi baths are converted into unbelievable, dance parties. Complete with fog, lazer lights, fireworks and stages, the pools become epic raves for all in attendance.
According to Insider, the baths remain at a wonderful 91-degree temperature, heated by the natural geothermal springs, allowing the parties to run all year round.
