Along with their consistently creative EP and album releases, the Street Ritual crew’s single game is certainly strong. Case in point: ‘Press Da Break’, the latest offering from Bay Area music-maker, Knowa Lusion. Tribal twerk really says it all, as the tune is a solid mid-tempo banger that definitely doesn’t slack on the bounce factor. Crystal clear sounds are the first thing we notice as the track kicks off, with the light tinkling of keys creating an ethereal atmosphere. Thick kick drums appear out of the haze, propelling us through guitar plucks and other stringed notes towards the drop. And once it hits, your rump will definitely be bumpin’; blips, bloops, and bass become what it’s all about, with Knowa returning elements to the song’s structure as the end approaches.
