Paul Van Dyk‘s scary fall from the ‘A State Of Trance’ main stage, which resulted in Armin Van Buuren closing the stage for the rest of the night, was frightening for fans in attendance and all over the world as well. Now we’ve just received word that he’s recovering, but his injuries are for more serious than we originally suspected. The trance mainstay has reportedly suffered a serious concussion and a cracked vertebrae in his back, and is still in the hospital recovering with no definite end in sight.

In the video below you can see where he apparently misstepped and plummeted from the stage. It’s hard to discern exactly what happened, but this update confirms it must’ve been quite the fall. We hope he experiences a speedy recovery and is back behind the decks soon!
