Yesterday, Google erroneously displayed the dates of TomorrowWorld 2016 which we had hoped would prove to be evidence that the festival would return. While Tomorrowland spokesperson Debby Wilmsen, who refused to confirm nor deny the festival’s return last month, has still remained mum on the matter it looks as if the festival’s cancellation has still been confirmed by festival organizers.
In a video posted on their Facebook page, TomorrowWorld has officially announced that the festival will not return but stressed that “this is not farewell”, a 2017 return would certainly be within the realm of possibility.
Per EDMTunes and Belgian outlet HBLV, a source at the company confirmed that TomorrowWorld 2017 was still under consideration.
“For 2017, we looked at all the possible scenarios. We cannot guarantee with the current situtation that we can put on an event at our level and our vales.”
