Rozes – Burn Wild (Kap Slap Remix)

There’s no doubt that Kap Slap has one of the more interesting stories in dance music. Despite making a name for himself as a mash-up guru in 2010 and 2011, he fell under the radar when dance music really hit its stride stateside, while other up-and-comers from the time, like 3LAU, were able their parlay their reputation into success. Now, nearly four years later, Kap Slap is primed to make a serious comeback. The LA transplant debuted his first original production last year, a collaboration with Gazzo called “Rewind,” and he followed that up with a stellar effort to start the new year, remixing Steve James’ “Renaissance” and combining the vocals from Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” and Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love” to tell the story of the two former lovebirds.

Now, Kap Slap has reached another career milestone – his first official remix. For his debut remix, Kap Slap took on one of music’s fastest risers from the year, Rozes, and her track, “Burn Wild.” Rozes, who you may know from The Chainsmokers’ hit, “Roses,” quickly established herself as a premiere vocalist for dance music artists, and her soaring croons offer the perfect companion for Kap Slap’s future-leaning progressive house. Take a peep at the remix below.
