Afrojack Shows New Side In Latest Collaboration With Fais

I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all had a certain opinion of Afrojack over the years. One of the people responsible for the rise of Dutch House style of electronic music, his productions and style recently have become… let’s say, stale. However, Afrojack is on a mission to rebrand and rediscover his sound. And honestly, I’m really digging it.

His WALL mixtape at the beginning of the month was the first sort of signal that he was switching things up. Now, we get his newest track, a collaboration with new WALL Recordings signee, Fais. Featuring a poppy four-four beat, something of a mixture of tropical and deep styles, it’s an absurdly pleasant and enjoyable tune. Expect to hear this one more in a mall than in a club, though (despite the ending of the music video).

The video features prominent models Alexis Ren and Jay Alvarrez, with a cameo from Afrojack performing at Omnia Nightclub at the end.
