Brazilian Nightclub Features Insane Movement-Sensitive LEDs [Video]

The Year Club in São Paulo just took the nightclub game to a whole new level. Situated inside its walls are two LED dance-floors, which contain sensors that control the lights via the clubbers’ movements. The LEDs are also temperature sensitive, adding yet another aspect to these insane lights.

700 people can fit in The Year, giving this club some serious potential to turn into a pretty big hotspot and bring in some big acts (waiting for Oliver Heldens to hold a shuffle battle here). I can only imagine some top names would enjoy playing here, as the LEDs add a game-changing creative element to the DJ’s set. According to the club’s architect, Guto Requena:

It’s a dance floor that reacts to the guests’ stimulation, working as an extension of their own bodies.

Check out a video of The Year’s set up below!
