New Pendulum Updates Could Signal An Even Bigger Reunion Than We Initially Imagined

Pendulum, the epic and transformative drum & bass band that left their mark on music, is set to reunite for their first live show in four years at Ultra Music Festival in less than a month. In the time leading up to that epic reunion, Pendulum social media accounts have been lighting up with activity and giving long-time fans something to interact with.

A post that went up on their Facebook today encourages fans to sign up with their email on the Pendulum website for “exclusive updates.”

Now, why would a group that is coming together for one last show need to give fans updates? Because they’re not just coming back for one show. It’s the only explanation, and one that would make a lot of sense. It’s just speculation at this point; however, the likelihood that Pendulum would come back for this one show, and then say to fans, “Okay, that was it, bye bye,” is slim.

The chances that Pendulum are coming back for a massive tour is more than likely. Whether that’s a festival tour, arena tour, intimate club tour… all that remains to be seen or revealed.

What we do know for sure is that live instrumentation in electronic music is all the rage these days, and to this day, I’ve never seen any group do it better than Pendulum.
