Kygo’s “Stay” came out in December of last year, his most recent track, and one that could potentially fits it way onto the Cloud Nine album – or at least the deluxe edition, perhaps.
Today, Kygo shares the official music video for “Stay,” and we’re quite surprised at the theme. The video focuses on a young, gay female couple who experience relationship troubles. Though homosexuality is no point of contention in dance music (save for some notable examples…), it’s rarely a main theme of a video or release.
One of the women in the couple works through the issues by dancing, and is the focus of the majority of the video.
