Following on the heels of a his previous releases and fast-paced rise to recognition, producer Alexander Lewis has just unveiled his newest original. Titled “Dangerous,” the track takes a dark and minimal approach reliant on obscure vocal chops and a stuttering bass synth.
It begins with deep, resounding tones and whispers of white noise and shakers. The vocals soon enter the space alongside a series of claps, until the track breaks into the main loop. Clacks and hi hats swirl around the mix as the vocals and lead synth repeat themselves, finding new intensity and meaning with each pass. After a short rest, the track swells upwards once more, this time emerging into a half-time rhythm complete with brass-like stings and a high-pitched arpeggiated blip above a powerful sub.
