So, so many talented producers come out of Icon Collective school in Los Angeles. I’m happy that as a fellow Los Angeles resident, I have a platform to promote these talented individuals and their achievements from their (almost) beginnings to when they’ve gotten absolutely massive.
The latest graduate from Icon is Toothpick, presenting his new track “Hope.” Featuring beautiful chord arrangements and a downright blissful melodic bassline, Toothpick aims to be among the upper echelon of producers like Seven Lions, Illenium, Siren, or even Porter Robinson. The powerfully written and orchestrated song structure is a testament not only to Icon’s worth as a school, but to the talent of Toothpick for having taken that education and made something out of it.
